Take some amazing night photos of San Francisco Urban Scenes using handheld ( high ISO ) and tripod shots ( low ISO ). Bring a fast prime lens if you have one. This is a 5 hour night photography workshop where we will shoot the essence of San Francisco.

Shooting Locations : Ferry Building, San Francisco City Hall, Palace of Fine Arts
Workshop Fee: $ 175 per student. $ 250 for 2 people Time: 6-10 pm. One Hour Orientation:
Meeting Place: Cafe Trieste ( North Beach ) next to Columbus. This is my favorite cafe to hang out.
What you need to bring:
A Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax DSLR Camera, wide angle & telephoto, Sturdy Tripod,etc.
Pen and notepad. Bring a copy of the triangle of exposure to our shoot.

Subject Matter: Urban landscapes, Seacapes at night, People, Architecture
Technical topics: Mastering the three most popular exposure settings ( Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual ), Color correction techniques using White Balance Settings, and Picture Styles, Exposure Compensation experiment ( effects of over and under exposure ). Shooting handheld night scenes with high ISO settings and low ISO settings with a Tripod. Shooting long exposures in color and black & white settings.
